Life's A Twitch! Celebrating 15 years.

Life's A Twitch! Celebrating 15 years.

You want role-models? We got role models!! TS friends from the USA.

Y'know, one of the really hard things for me growing up was that I seemed to be COMPLETELY ALONE in my difference -- no one else my age had Tourette Syndrome. Also, no one I knew had EVER had it -- I had so many questions about whether it would get worse, whether it would ever go away, whether girls would ever like me (or what I could DO to get girls to like me!!), and that sort of thing.

Lots of grown-ups were around to tell me what to do but they just d idn't understand. Other grown-ups seemed to really WANT to understand -- they SAID they understood, and they would try to give me advice, but as nice as they were I still wasn't sure if they really "got" me. I wanted someone to talk to who I KNEW was going through what I was going through -- that was someone I could DEFINITELY take seriously because they had 'been there, done that'.

Well, guys, I want to do my best to make sure that you have that chance to hear from people JUST LIKE YOU who have survived or are surviving growing up -- they learned or are learning how to be happy and become whatever they want, and they want to help you do the same with tips they've learned because THEY KNOW WHAT IT IS LIKE! Here they are...
